Edinburgh Military Tattoo Tickets

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo returns to the Castle Esplanade for The Same Heart Beat, its 2027 production. Massed pipes and drums, military bands and international performers take the arena beneath the floodlit walls of Edinburgh Castle.

This is the earlier of the day's two performances, beginning at 18:15 while there is still daylight over the Esplanade. Matinees are generally the quieter of the two shows and suit families, or anyone who would rather not be out late.

Seating is arranged in Categories 1 to 3, with Category 1 closest to the arena and the clearest view of the massed bands. For this performance, Category 3 starts at £115, Category 2 at £130 and Category 1 at £155.
